Job Summary
Two-person, fully on-campus role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. The position starts as Full-time Flex Houseparents living in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, developmentally appropriate programming, and spiritual activities (devotions and Sunday Chapel). They will oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule that transitions to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, relocation assistance, and paid time off. Required: youth work/volunteer experience, legal marriage for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, up to three dependent children in the home, clean campus conduct rules (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty), valid driver’s license with ability to drive student vans, ability to lift 50 lbs, and high school diploma or GED. Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years

- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
