Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a two-person, live-in role for married couples residing in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed home with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations (fish and one dog of approved breeds)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lead students in devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
