Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School; married couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and supervision, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits including relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-year marriage minimum for both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
