Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents living on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA, provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students in a home. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, dispensing medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, supervising budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed Houseparent role over time. Work schedule initially involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; housing, meals, and utilities are included. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth
- Two-person role for married couple
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to comply with campus policies including no alcohol on duty
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
- Relocation to on-campus housing in Hershey, PA
- Commitment to Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Pastoral/guardian-like responsibilities including supervision and mentorship

Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
