Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse collaboration for employment
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
