Job Summary
Frontline youth-development role in on-campus student homes: couples live with 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and a structured, family-like environment. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and high school diploma or GED. Salary per person is $44,768 with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; on-site housing and meals included. Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pro-social, faith-aligned campus environment with strict policies on alcohol, weapons, and pet limitations. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
