Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision/mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting/reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; comprehensive benefits and housing/meal provisions apply. Required qualifications include youth-work experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-spouse, legally married (at least two years) requirement for consideration; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
