Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person team) at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, residing in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role with a consistent student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside in on-campus student homes as a two-person team with supervision of 8–13 students
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Two-person employment applications required for consideration
