Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. They reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, guidance, and support for 8–13 students, including administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a single student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements
