Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a two-person, legally married couple reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and development opportunities for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off. Must relocate to Hershey, PA and be prepared for a nine-on, three-off duty cycle with eventual placement in a single student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Willingness to obtain certification to drive student vans
- Two-person, legally married couples for at least two years
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
