Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live in on-campus student homes in Germantown, TN, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, medications, transportation to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time. The role operates on a nine days-on, three days-off schedule with housing provided; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Willingness to relocate to Germantown, TN (on-campus housing) and work a nine-on, three-off schedule
- Ability to lead daily devotions and accompany students to chapel
- Capability to provide supervision and mentorship to 8–13 students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person couple must complete individual applications for consideration
