Job Summary
Pair of full-time on-campus houseparents responsible for supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent while residing in a student home. Requires experience with youth, a legally married two-person couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid U.S. driver’s license and certification to drive student vans. Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with relocation assistance and paid training provided. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
