Job Summary
Two-person/full-time Flex Houseparent position at Milton Hershey School. A married couple resides in on-campus student homes (8–13 students per home) and provides supervision, mentorship, and support to promote student development. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student home. Qualifications require a high school diploma or GED, two-year marriage minimum, both spouses 27+, valid driver’s license with ability to drive student vans, lifting ability up to 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- No alcohol permitted on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Two-person role; both spouses must complete individual employment applications
