Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role includes an initial nine-on/three-off schedule with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768; approx. $168,000 total per couple with housing/meals/utilities), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid time off. Candidates must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and meet other youth-care and safety requirements. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Committment to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel leadership
