Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role as Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. A two-person couple on a full-time, on-campus housing team providing supervision, mentorship, and daily routines for 8–13 students per home. Responsibilities include supervising/student activity planning, medication administration, transportation, budgeting, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initially rotating through multiple student homes on a 9 days on/3 days off schedule, with eventual placement in a single student home. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance provided; total compensation per couple approximately $168,000 includes housing and benefits. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
