Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for a two-person married-couple team (Flex Houseparents) at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students in on-campus homes, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Requires on-campus housing, driving capability for student transport, and strong youth-development skills; benefits include a salary of $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total per couple), relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance options, retirement savings, paid time off, and paid training. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; experience with youth and ability to lead devotions are preferred.

- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to full-time on-campus living and supervision
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (relocation assistance provided)
