Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist / Flex Houseparents are a two-person, married-couple role living on-campus in a student home to supervise and mentor 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off duty cycle to a placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. Requires a High School diploma or GED, and both spouses must be at least 27 years old, legally married for two years, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits include relocation assistance, medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and paid training. Salary is $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 per couple total compensation including housing and meals). Relocation assistance provided.
