Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist for Milton Hershey School—a two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role serving as caregivers/mentors in on-campus student homes. Couples reside with about 8–13 students, providing supervision, guidance, and support, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in a consistent student home. Includes relocation assistance and paid training, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
