Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on a campus, residing in on-campus student homes and supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Relocation assistance provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and training. Requires high school diploma or GED, two years of marriage and age 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. Two-person married couple must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications

- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
