Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, and planning/developing developmental and recreational activities. Responsibilities include daily supervision, household routines, devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a single student-home as a placed houseparent. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires two-person, married-couple eligibility and individual applications from both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Two-person role for couples
- Commitment to campus safety (smoke-free and weapon-free)
- No more than three dependent children reside in home
- Certification to drive student home vans

- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual applications
