Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, legally married couples) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, provide medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine days on/three days off to a fixed home with the same group of students. Position includes relocation assistance and paid training, with benefits such as health/dental/vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student home vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and being part of a two-spouse team meeting age and residency requirements.
Required Qualifications

- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
