Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on a residential campus. Stewards of 8–13 students per home, providing care, supervision, and guidance, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent in the same student home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; on-campus housing and meals provided as part of compensation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
