Job Summary
Couples live on campus as Flex Houseparents, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. After an initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, they transition to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. On-campus housing, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training are provided. Requires a legally married two-person pair, both ages 27+, and a high school diploma or GED. Strong commitment to student development and a safety-focused, smoke-free environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with youth
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort with residential life responsibilities in student homes
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
