Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples to live and work in on-campus homes at Milton Hershey School, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and development support to 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents. Requires two-person, on-site housing with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, relocation assistance, and benefits. Candidates must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED, and possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability to become certified to drive student vans. The role emphasizes a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and religious services participation while prohibiting proselytizing.
