Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead devotions and chapel participation, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Requires married couples, both spouses age 27+, and a High school diploma or GED. Relocation assistance provided; includes comprehensive benefits and paid training. Salary is paid per person at $44,768 annually (approximately $168,000 total per couple with housing and meals).
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse collaboration with at least two years of marriage
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- No alcohol on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus policies
