Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in Riverton, NJ to supervise and mentor approximately 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage them in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel, oversee household routines and budgeting, and transition from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed Houseparent role with the same student group. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required. Benefits include housing and comprehensive insurance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Relocation assistance provided
- Experience working with youth or volunteering with youth
- Ability to live and work with same group of students in a student home
- Consent to devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel attendance
- On-site supervision and budgeting responsibilities
