Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. They live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for groups of approximately 8–13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
