Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparent roles on Milton Hershey School campus involve living in on-campus student homes and providing care, supervision, and developmental guidance for ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent arrangement with a stable student group. The role includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and requiring both spouses to be legally married for at least two years and age 27 or older, with a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Qualifications emphasize experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and successful completion of separate applications for both spouses.
