Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Requires completing individual employment applications for both spouses. Location note: Sunset, UT on-campus housing; relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
