Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting; schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent home; relocation assistance provided and benefits include comprehensive coverage and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status for both spouses
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- commit to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Complete individual employment applications (two-person role)
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
