Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in an on-campus home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning recreational engagement. Oversee budgeting and reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social development. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning eventually to a Placed Houseparent role with a dedicated student group. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, aged 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
