Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, plan recreational events, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services. Transition from a rotating schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Manage household budgets and reporting while adhering to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus policy. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, be 27 or older, and have no more than three dependent children in the home.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
