Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and chapel services. Plan recreational activities and oversee budgeting and household reporting. Initially support various homes on a nine-on, three-off rotation before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus. Married couples must be at least 27 years old with no more than three dependent children.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
