Job Summary
Conduct daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning recreational engagements. Oversee budgeting and reporting, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role with a dedicated student group. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, utilizing unscheduled weekday time when students are in school. Requires a legally married couple, both 27+, with a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
