Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning recreational engagement. Oversee budgeting and reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social development. Follow a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. This two-person role requires legally married couples (aged 27+) to reside in Hershey, PA, fostering a safe, smoke-free campus where students receive a cost-free, career-focused education from pre-K through 12th grade.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
