Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, plan recreational programs, and lead devotions while accompanying them to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social development. This two-person role requires married couples (aged 27+, married two+ years) to reside on campus. Initial schedule involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a dedicated student group. Full-time employment includes free housing, meals, utilities, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
