Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance to a group of 8–13 students while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities, plan recreational engagements, lead devotions, and accompany them to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, then transition from a rotating schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students. Maintain a smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free environment; only fish and one approved dog are permitted. Both spouses must hold a valid driver's license, obtain certification to drive student vans, and meet age and marriage requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
