Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and chapel services. Plan developmental and recreational activities while overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Follow a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with unscheduled time available on weekdays. This two-person role requires married couples residing in student homes to foster a structured, family-like environment supporting academic, emotional, and social development. Couples must relocate to Hershey, PA, and complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
