Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in an on-campus home while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities and lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs, including accompanying them to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role with a dedicated student group after initial support of various homes. This two-person role requires couples married at least two years, aged 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must hold a valid driver's license, pass background checks, and adhere to a strict zero-tolerance policy for alcohol, weapons, and smoking. Full-time flex scheduling involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
