Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus housing. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning recreational engagements. Transition from a rotating nine-on-three-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Manage household budgets and reporting. This two-person role requires legally married couples aged 27+ with youth experience to reside in Hershey, PA, supporting a cost-free, career-focused education for disadvantaged youth.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
