Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples at Milton Hershey School. The position involves residing in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initially rotating across homes on a nine-on/three-off schedule with eventual placement into a single student home, offering housing, meals, benefits, and relocation assistance. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with ability to drive student vans, and both spouses to be legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old. The role emphasizes supervision, student safety, budget oversight, and fostering a structured, family-like environment to support students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
