Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and guide groups of 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; salary per person is $44,768 with total compensation for a couple around $168,000 ex housing and meals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
