Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially a nine-on/three-off schedule, with later transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Includes relocation assistance and paid training, along with comprehensive benefits. Two spouses who are legally married for at least two years, both aged 27+, must complete individual applications to be considered. High school diploma or GED required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement for the role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model responsibilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
