Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist for a two-person, married-couple role dedicated to supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to a Placed Houseparent. Requires living on-campus, working nine consecutive days on with three days off, with relocation to Hershey, PA; includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses 27+, and have a high school diploma or GED; driving certification and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples
- Must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses age 27+
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
