Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and supervision of a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. The role requires a two-person married couple, with both spouses completing individual applications, and includes relocation support and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

- Married couples only
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
