Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in a student home near Hershey, PA, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and budgeting/reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person with relocation assistance and comprehensive insurance/options.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
