Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for two-person, married-couple team (Flex Houseparents) to live in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed houseparent arrangement. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate with a spouse; relocation assistance provided. Employment is full-time with benefits and housing, with both spouses required to apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married
- Age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel
- Two-person couple requirement
