Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist positions for two-person, married-couple houseparents living on-campus at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring ~813 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance. Initial nine days on / three days off schedule with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, experience with youth, and being married for at least two years (both spouses age 27+). - Proselytizing prohibited during duty
