Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, including daily supervision, mentoring, managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person plus relocation assistance and comprehensive insurance, PTO, and other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older (from posting)
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
