Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent couple living on Milton Hershey School campus in on-campus student homes, responsible for supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 813 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving and transporting students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home; includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid training, and on-duty housing) for both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No alcohol on duty
- Two-person role for couples
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
